The campsite is located directly on the shore of the beautiful Lake Maggiore, in the heart of a small bay. It is fully equipped, with a restaurant, bar and various facilities for a pleasant stay.
Every weekend, there are dance nights under the stars. Enjoy the warm Italian atmosphere of this cosy family campsite and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Maggiore.
Lido di Monvalle is a particularly beautiful area on Lake Maggiore, located in a small bay on the southeast side of the lake. In summer, the water level on this side of the lake is very low, so you can enjoy a beautiful sandy beach. At high tide, it will be smaller/disappear. Near the campsite, there are many interesting places to visit. In Laveno you can store at the weekly market or enjoy a nice drink at the outdoor bar. From Laveno you can take a ferry across the lake to Verbania and Stresa. You can also organise a fantastic visit to the Borromean Islands!
On the northwestern part of the Castagnola slope on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, between Pallanza and Intra, the gardens of the Villa Taranto, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sights in Piedmont, are like a jewel. Visit the Castle of Rocca Borromeo, which offers stunning views of the lake and mountains. The Monastery of Santa Caterina del Sasso, or Sasso Ballaro, is undoubtedly one of the most stunning and enchanting sights on Lake Maggiore. Besides the extraordinary beauty of the place, it is the history of the monastery itself that attracts many visitors and pilgrims each year.
