Another thing not to miss are the 6 picturesque villages of the municipality of San Giovanni di Moriani. The hamlets are set against the mountainside and exude authentic Corsican charm. If you want a day trip to a larger city, go to Bastia, about 40 km away. Here you will find plenty of culture, history, as well as cozy bars and restaurants.
